If I run my script in Powershell (x86) (%SystemRoot%\syswow64\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell.exe) instead of Powershell (x64) (%SystemRoot%\system32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell.exe) then the script works as expected.
